𝓗𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓼𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓪 𝓭𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓶𝓸𝓿𝓲𝓮?

For today's blog, I'd like to talk about one of my favorite hobbies: watch movies! ❀

From a very young age I had a strange relationship with the cinema because I didn't like films directed at my age. The only movie that I remember as one of the first that caught my attention was "Akira", seen when I was 9 years old thanks to my uncle, a fan of Japanese culture. Cinema, in my opinion, in addition to being a small escape from reality and routine, can be an element of analysis and discovery, depending on the perspective from which it is viewed. That is why I have always liked mystery, psycho, thriller, fantasy and dream movies.

Within these genres, there is my favorite movie, "Paprika: Dream Detective". This film is about the work of a woman named Atsuko Chiba, a young woman who is using a method of psychiatric therapy where she enters the dreams of the patients and tries to help them with their trauma through her alter-ego, Paprika. This is possible thanks to the device developed by Dr. Tokita. The problem begins when three experimental prototypes that allow the user to get into any dream are stolen, when no security restrictions had yet been added. Thus, Atsuko begins a dream quest as Paprika, a dream detective.

One of the things I like the most about this movie is the surreal scenes that are shown throughout the movie. Some scenes, despite being confusing, have a meaningful explanation, I swear hahaha.
